BBC Sport Women's World Cup Titles Artwork
Four years ago our household was taken over by football fever for the first time ever as we watched the magnificent Women’s World Cup in 2019. Sure, it wasn’t England’s year that time round however our semi final win and witnessing the incredible talent on the pitches was enough to grab to attention of me and my children.
Since then both my children have gone on to play football themselves, enjoying the community that comes with it, and developing some impressive skills. It was therefore an absolute honour to have the opportunity to create the artwork for the BBC Sports titles for their coverage of the Women’s World Cup 2023.
Brief
Line drawings of specific stills within the footage, picking up key elements from that shot.
What the client received
A PSD project which they could take into their timeline and edit into the sequence. The images were digitally hand drawn, making each one completely bespoke.
